El pa\u00eds ya era inestable tras una serie de desastres naturales combinados con a\u00f1os de agitaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica, econ\u00f3mica y criminal. Pero el asesinato del presidente lo llev\u00f3 hacia nuevas profundidades de crisis caracterizadas por una violencia cada vez mayor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoy, los haitianos enfrentan violencia f\u00edsica y sist\u00e9mica en casi todas sus manifestaciones, y detr\u00e1s de gran parte de esa violencia hay grupos criminales que han ido creciendo en poder y brutalidad. Event Data Project, <a href=\"https:\/\/acleddata.com\/data-export-tool\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">ACLED<\/a>). Un terrible caso se present\u00f3 en abril de este a\u00f1o, cuando miembros del G9 violaron a 49 mujeres en Cit\u00e9 Soleil. En Puerto Pr\u00edncipe, hay un promedio de 400 casos nuevos cada mes\u201d, dijo un empleado de M\u00e9dicos Sin Fronteras que habl\u00f3 con InSight Crime bajo condici\u00f3n de anonimato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin embargo, es probable que cualquier dato sobre la violencia sexual y de g\u00e9nero sea <a href=\"https:\/\/iris.who.int\/bitstream\/handle\/10665\/271048\/PMC3260900.pdf?sequence=1&amp;isAllowed=y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">insuficiente<\/a>.
