About the event
The name of Venezuela’s most feared gang has spread across the Americas. Active in Colombia, Peru, Chile, and several other countries, Tren de Aragua has also reached the United States, where authorities have labeled them terrorists and accused them of carrying out an “invasion” at the behest of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. Meanwhile, Maduro claims the gang has been eradicated — at least in Venezuela.
