Ecuadorians will soon vote for a new president almost exactly one year after the military was deployed to the streets and the prisons in a desperate attempt to tackle the worst security crisis in the country’s history. The results of the military crackdown have been mixed at best. But do any of the current candidates have an alternative vision?
Join our panel of experts on January 20 as we discuss the previous evening’s presidential debate, and go beyond the political rhetoric to scrutinize the security policies proposed by the leading candidates and what they could mean for Ecuador’s future.
